Man, I am exhausted.

I didn’t #SetThemBoundaries between myself and my work today. Did you know that boundaries exist not just human-human but also human-work?
•
I got rollin’ on some projects this morning and got pulled entirely away from the little morning things that set me up mentally for the day.
•
Did I get a lot done? Sure. At the end of it all, did I feel mentally clear to finish out the day? Not one bit.
•
It’s so important to set boundaries when it comes to work. Especially for those of you who have transitioned to working from home. The lines between work mode and non-work mode get blurred so easily.
•
The best method I’ve utilized is time blocking on my calendar. I’ll schedule blocks of time for my work, errands, meals and the mornings are of course blocked off for my self care and meditation.
•
Hold your time close to you. Make it a priority to fill it (or keep it empty) with what YOU need and not what you feel pressured to do. Because if you’re not at your best, is that fair to yourself? Probably not. It’ll most likely cause more stress than relieve it.

Always remember to #SetThemBoundaries 📷
