Spent the day yesterday reading and finishing Anthony De Mello’s book, “Awareness.” Needless to say I highly recommend if you’re looking for some perspective on living and how to free yourself from the weight of everything around you.

My biggest takeaway was that we have to watch ourselves live this life and do our very best through watching to understand, understand, understand. Because when we understand, we are aware. Aware of what’s happening and we can see reality for what it is, not how society has taught us to interpret it. We can break free of all that we’re told must define us and realize that we’re ourselves. You are you. I am me. So long as we understand how to process life around us. We can be awakened to a beautiful life.
