Thank you to each and every legislator I met with to discuss the #StopInstitutionalChildAbuse Act in D.C. I am incredibly grateful for your partnership in finding a policy solution to end the abuse that has negatively impacted me and thousands of other survivors across the nation. Every time I am in D.C, I feel a sense of peace and hope - knowing that one day (hopefully in the near future) we will pass #SICAA. The introduction was just the first step!
