Your Vote, your voice. Taller de José staff was encouraged to make a voting plan for the 2020 election. Mary, a Taller de José Compañera, recently mailed in her absentee ballot and encourages you to do the same. Make sure you’re aware of your state’s absentee ballot deadline. 

Mary voted because, “civic engagement is one way to put my faith in action, and it is not enough to talk about the issues that are important to me. I have to advocate for them through voting. Our country is in need of a renewed sense of hope and love, and that can come from electing officials who seek unity, justice, equity, and representation."
