Happy Friday everyone! Have you heard about our church plant movement in South Asia? The following story describes its beginnings.⠀ ⠀
The G Brothers, two of our international partners in South Asia, sacrificed successful careers to respond to the call on their hearts. God’s plan, they were sure, extended beyond the walls of a church. They felt led to the Deep Forest, a region of extreme poverty. For years, venomous snakes, militant groups, and prejudice steered visitors away. ⠀ ⠀
There, they met three pastors. These pastors ministered in a few homes but wanted to help more of their people. With the G Brothers at their side, they found more pastors who desired to spread Christ’s love throughout the region. ⠀ ⠀
But the task wouldn’t be easy. Most of the pastors had never received an education, To preach the Gospel, they needed training. The G Brothers’ father provided Bible classes. Soon, the pastors’ knowledge of the Word had increased. Their bond had strengthened. When they faced persecution, they encouraged one another. ⠀ ⠀
Last year, the G Brothers equipped 18 pastors to minister in 61 villages. With more sponsors, they will fulfill their vision—to plant 100 churches in 100 villages of the Deep Forest. ⠀ ⠀
