𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯𝘀 (5/10) Use the players' personalities
⚽

On Monday, we looked at what really draws fans to their favourite clubs, and how little of it actually has to do with football. We're now at the halfway point, which
means it’s probably about time we actually spoke more about the players.

The nba has been magnificent in allowing their players to build their own personalities and brands online, which the league (for better or worse)
piggybacks off of.

Your audience won’t always engage with your perfectly framed, well-lit video about nothing in particular.

Yes, players come and go - but they can also bring in new audiences, promote who you are and what you do to an audience outside of yours and they can be a
a great ambassador for your club.

Finding players that personify your club culture is great and that's perfect for collaboration, but your team will comprise a range of personalities. Play to their
personality traits rather than trying a one size fits all approach.

Our talksport radio documentary Sporting Asylum follows asylum seekers who’ve gone on to sporting achievement in their new homes.

It uses their personalities and stories to drive a positive narrative, and through them, we find out more about their sports and their clubs. These stories are better
told through lived experiences than assumed ones. Always.
