In a town known for its vibrant creative community, it’s no surprise Woodstock’s go-to bookstore feels collaborative, warm and inviting. “We try to offer the universe in a small space,” say Jacqueline Kellachan and James Conrad, the co-owners of @goldennotebookbookstore. 

For the two owners, a commitment to the town’s inhabitants is at the core of what they do. “We always try to stay engaged with the community…Our customers want to connect and we want them to leave our store happy and even transformed!” 

A haven for music, dance, theatre and art, Woodstock continues to attract the creative type. In fact, @matthewmichaellopez, who contributed to #ValentinoNarratives, calls the town home. “I love what Matthew wrote. It is powerful and evocative,” says Jacqueline, after hanging López’s poster in the front windows of her store.
