Sanderszn stats now 🔥 🔥 

Jake Sanderson has signed a three-year ELC today. The 2020 5th overall pick has finished his season with UND, scoring at over a point per game pace as a defenceman. He’s arguably the best prospect outside of the NHL. 

I don’t want to get my hopes up too much early on, as he’s not going to be a superstar right away, but he’s one of Ottawa’s most exciting prospects in a long time. He’ll likely play on the second line to start, but with Chabot out there’s a chance he could get first line minutes. 

There’s no guarantee he plays this season due to a hand injury, but he burns a year of his contract regardless. Can’t wait to see him when he’s healthy.
