## Caption

For the first time this season, the Sens have a winning record in their last five games. Even in the games they’ve lost, they have still played really well.

A large factor of this success has been the improved goaltending. Before going down to injury, Marcus Hogberg was playing well after his rough start to the season, getting 2/3 of these wins. Matt Murray has also stepped up since a slow start of his own, and although battling an injury last week he has been exceptional when healthy. 

The young players have also started to show that they belong in the NHL. Tim Stützle is one of the best 19 years olds I’ve ever seen in the NHL, and he gets better and gets more confident with every shift. It’s not much of a stretch to say he may be Ottawa’s best forward this season. Drake Batherson, after a slow start, has three goals in his last four games and has looked like he’s really found his footing. Josh Norris has quietly been having a Calder-worthy season despite bouncing around the lineup a little bit. Colin White and Evgenii Dadonov have seem to found some chemistry, and Nick Paul has been really solid all-around this season. Brady Tkachuk and Thomas Chabot are still the backbones if this team and both have been great this season. 

The additions of Artem Zub and Erik Brannstrom have seriously helped out the blue line, and Mike Reilly has looked like a different player in the past ten or so games compared to the start of the season. Nikita Zaitsev has really improved compared to last season as well.
