Janet grew up in New York, and has lived on the same side of town for 74 years.⁣
“I’m an East Side girl. It’s as simple as that.” A few times a year, she takes the train to Grand Central, then heads upstate to visit her son on his farm.⁣
“I only leave the city to see him. He’s so different from me, sometimes I can’t believe it. I own a vintage jewelry store and sell to some of New York’s oldest families. My son’s closest neighbor is a horse. But he gives me tons of tomatoes and peppers whenever I visit. It all makes sense.”⁣ ⁣
