deniszakaria, the new Juventus number 28 and Swiss national team midfielder, is explosive and dynamic, with great tactical qualities. Yet, what distinguishes him is that he embodies some of the virtues and human attributes typical of those with an iron will - constancy, reliability and spirit of sacrifice - and he applies these virtues to the game of football.

Denis was born in Geneva on November 20, 1996, to a South Sudanese mother and a Congolese father. His football journey began in the Swiss club Servette, where he debuted in 2014 and scored his first goal as a professional. Moving to Young Boys the following year got him his first Champions League appearance and he received the rookie award in the Swiss Super League in his first season in Bern. In 2017 Borussia M'gladbach bought him, and he stayed in the club for four years until Juventus secured his talent on January 31, 2022. 
"I am very proud to be here. Juventus was my father's favourite team, so I know a lot about this club". 

Denis had his best start at Juve on February 6, scoring against Verona and immediately turning these words into actions: "It's not an everyday occurrence that Juventus goes after you. I hope I can contribute to the team". 

Denis Zakaria has recently joined the club but has made it clear to the team that they can count on him. He has what it takes to significantly impact Juventus and become a certainty for his teammates.
