Melco joins first group of signatories to the #GlobalTourismPlasticsInitiative to take on problematic plastic pollution. Joining global initiative to tackle #plasticwaste led by the #UNEnvironmentProgramme and the #WorldTourismOrganization in collaboration with the #EllenMacArthurFoundation.⠀

The Global Tourism Plastics Initiative requires tourism organizations to make a set of concrete and actionable commitments by 2025, including eliminating problematic or unnecessary plastic packaging and items; taking action to move from single-use to reuse models or #reusable alternatives; engaging the value chain to move towards 100% of plastic packaging to be #reusable, #recyclable, or #compostable.⠀
