Next as we continue the celebration of our 2024 seniors is #29 Noémie Garneau, graduating with a Major in Elementary Education.

- No’s fearlessness is truly remarkable, she overcame a lot of adversity in her time as a Gaiter. She never backs down from the toughest of opponents, skating full speed head-down into any 50/50 puck. Noe’s smile, positivity, and laughter are contagious. We will dearly miss your entertaining stories, the true ones, and the “not so true ones” just as much. 💜🐊

As I reflected on the incredible last four years I spent with this team, the time has come for me to bid farewell to the ice that has been my second home for 17 memorable years. It was an honor for me to have contributed to the creation and development of this team. I remember when I came here my first year, everyone underestimated us and were taking us lightly. Through dedication, passion and perseverance, we proved over the years that our team can achieve big things together. From the thrilling victories to the challenging defeats, each moment has been a lesson and a source of growth. I’ve created a lot of memories on and off the ice with this beautiful group and friendships that will last forever. These years have passed so quickly. To my teammates, it has been an honor for me to share my journey with such a talented and resilient group. To my coaches, thanks for your guidance and belief in my abilities, I progressed a lot on the ice and I also became a better person. Your implication for this team is tremendous and you’re always there to make sure our needs are met. Positivity is the value I’ll always keep in mind in the future and I’ll carry all the values instilled by this remarkable team over the years. The love for the game will forever be part of my identity. Thank you for being more than just a hockey team to me. You are a family that will always have a special place in my heart. I am so proud and grateful for having been a part of this team and I will have memories for a lifetime. – Noe
