Next, we have Mia Rivera and Dr. Rebecca Stafford!

Alejandra Mia Rivera (Makeup/Hair Designer) (she/her) is a third-year Musical Theatre major, seen on stage previously at NCC’s production of CONSTELLATIONS (Marianne), Puerto Rico’s Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré’s IN THE HEIGHTS (Nina), and as the Assistant Stage Manager of NCC’s 2022 production of INTO THE WOODS.

Rebecca Stafford (Poetry Consultant)(she/her) is an Associate Professor of English here at North Central College. Furthermore, she is the author of Gloss, forthcoming from the University of Wisconsin Press, Vow from Cleveland State UP, and Fair Copy from Ohio State University Press, winner of the Wheeler Prize. She is the co-editor of The Manifesto Project, with Alan Michael Parker, from the University of Akron’s Series in Contemporary Poetics. She has won the Discovery/The Nation prize, and been awarded two Pushcart Prizes, along with the Jay C. and Ruth Hall fellowship from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and fellowships for Vermont Studio Center and the Sewanee Writer’s Conference. Her poems have been published in journals such as Poetry and The New Yorker, and anthologized in Best New Poets and Best American Poetry. Her first fiction piece, “The Second Person,” was recently published in The Literary Review. She is currently at work on a young adult novel.
