#sjsu Professor gittemcdonald along with grad students cekroeger and Parker Forman are studying critical #EmperorPenguin behaviour as well as #climatechange in Antartica using clever tracker tech.📱

Penguin feeding and travel behaviour reveal how this keystone species and Antartica's habitats are faring with warming seas and melting ice. Penguins and their 'waddle trackers' are helpful sentinals of climate change as #sjsu reseachers monotor and decifer these findings to shape future conservation and scientific efforts. 🌏
