Check THIS! And THAT! 🤔
When you're building new construction, there's some things you want to check WHILE building is still in progress. 

First, check the roof joists. You want to make sure they "ain't going anywhere!" You can even get an inspector out to the property to make sure they're solid. Or, you can try Silvio's method 🤷

Next, make sure the builders are pulling permits, doing the work, then closing those permits. It's an easier process when the builders close out the permits themselves. 

Lastly, hire licensed contractors like electricians and plumbers to complete the work. Your crazy uncle could *probably* do it, but it's better to err on the side of caution and hire a professional.
