One of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen this morning as I looked out my window. 

We are at the Southern end of the Shetland Islands about to head North through the Drake Passage. The weather is violent in the Drake now and the ship is preparing for a rough voyage. 

Antarctica has changed me profoundly and there is no other place I’ve ever seen like it.
