From davidcmorton: "A climber ascends a ladder in the #khumbu icefall around 19,000ft. These ladders are maintained throughout the season by the #icefalldoctors, a team of Sherpas who are skilled at placing ropes and ladders. They rotate every two days in teams, spending hours in the dangerous area of the icefall between #basecamp and Camp 2." David Morton is a high altitude guide, adventurer and photographer and the co-founder of thejuniperfund.
