Formed approximately 3,000 years ago, Kerið crater lake was once a giant cone volcano that erupted and then collapsed in on itself when its magma chamber was empty. The popular tourist destination also doubles as a concert venue because of the amazing acoustics the crater provides. Popular Icelandic singer Björk has even performed at Kerið  before. #Iceland #Crater #Volcano #Lake #Nature
