The final dynamic approval drive before a customer car is delivered to its new owner is always the most important one. Anytime soon, all CHIRON Super Sport 300+ will have left the Molsheim Atelier, but before each of the 30 units ever to be made must pass an ultimate static and dynamic all-round check to assure that every single example offers BUGATTI’s unparalleled driving properties. 

Cocooned in protective foil, the hyper sports car is ready for a five-hour, 300 kilometre-long test drive through the Vosges mountains and along stretches of public roads and motorways. For acceleration and high-speed tests, BUGATTI visits a private runway to conduct various functional tests that require speeds of over 250 km/h. 

Every detail is meticulously tested: launch control, driving in the different driving modes, airbrake function, fast lane changes at 170 km/h, braking behaviour, full braking from 160 km/h to 0, ESP check, and whether the full power of 1,600 PS is also available at 340 km/h.
