## Caption

“Growing up in a small town in Mexico, one of the challenges was that I didn’t see queer people. Once I came into my own, every celebrity, every person who lives authentically, was super inspiring to me. Even more so when they appeared to have a whole community who loved them.

When I came to Allstate, I was looking for an employer that made me feel a welcomed part of the community.

Here I was gay without reservations about having my partner’s picture on my desk. Here I was authentically Latino.

I’m in the PRIDE and Professional Latino Allstate Network employee impact groups working to make Allstate a more inclusive space.

And as a people leader, I would love for every person to feel they can be their authentic selves at work. I have been myself at Allstate for 20 years and I always strive to have every person feel included and welcome in our Allstate community.”
