## Caption

[3/3] “I think history is sort of dictated through European painters, but as European painters aren’t the only people to occupy the planet, I think there’s another side to that. I think my voice is very akin to my contemporaries in feeling a bit displaced from history, a bit of a middle child. No single great war- a lot of small battles. If I am to be remembered, first, it’s to be an amazing visual artist or master at my craft and then have the conversation of race.” – Hebru Brantley, visual artist & muralist | The stories you’ve never heard are often #WorthTelling.
