Nikon not Food - Colorado - When you ditch the gear and give them space. Was shooting photos of a black bear and her cubs when she decided to see the gear I was shooting with, its was not safe to try to retrieve it so time to give her plenty of space. I am glad I did not pack my lunch for this hike. A quick sniff of the lens and the pack and off she went with her babies. Keeping the distance from wildlife is so important as I don't ever want these precious bears to be killed because of stupidity.
