## Caption

This is a female marbled orbweaver. It had just finished its web in one of our pepper beds. 

It was nestled underneath some leaves on a long hot plant awaiting its meal when it was rudely interrupted by us harvesting peppers.

It was a startling find since it will pull leaves back to hide itself from its prey, and predators, while it waits for something to hit its web.
