Here are some incredible facts about ag👇🏼

🫐 Annually in the US, one farm producers enough food and fiber for 166 people

🍽 Farm and ranch families comprise less than 2% of the U.S. population. 2% feeding 100% of the people 😱

🌎 By the year 2050, farmers will have to produce 70% more food than they are today to feed the global population

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 In America, about 95% of the 1.9 million farms are family owned and operated

💃🏼 Women make up 36% of the total number of U.S. farm operators! 58% of all farms have at least one female decision-maker

🐂 With the improvement in technology and more efficient farming practices, we are using less land, resources and animals to produce more food and fiber

I am so, so grateful to have grown up in the agricultural industry, and I’ll continue to #agvocate and create conversations with those who haven’t had the opportunity to see first hand where their food is coming from - shoutout to cowgirltalk 🤠🎙️
