🥺 I've had so many clients who are constantly prejudiced , discriminated , and oppressed  for their multicultural sexual identities  in their personal/professional domains.⁣

😞 Many clients I provide therapy to, are afraid  to come out because of the stigma they know they're  going to face, when they decide to tell their family, loved ones, peers, etc. ⁣

😞These “support systems”, instead of  being there emotionally for my clients, are more fixated upon : ⁣

-What will others think?⁣

- This is abnormal .⁣
⁣
- Let's  not tell anyone about this !!⁣

- You're are just confused , you do not feel that way.⁣
⁣
- This can't be true - I asked for for a daughter, not a son (vice-versa), why are you doing this to me? ⁣

😔I CAN GO ON!! Who are these “other people”? How do their opinions matter? Do we live for these “so-called irrelevant others”, who have no idea how difficult it is to face the stressors one might have to deal with in this journey called life and all the intersectionality of our identities? ⁣

😌Truth be told at the end of the day, we're all in the same game ; just different levels. Dealing with the same hell; just different levels. ⁣

✨I really do wish human beings will start respecting others in the way they wish to be treated . ⁣
