🔸Yesterday it was very triggering. I was glued to my phone non-stop and could not switch off the news as well.⁣⁣

🔸Social Injustice is a public health issue. Over the past year, we have witnessed our BIPOC communities continue to face extreme ongoing injustice through this racial pandemic. These acts of injustice impede our physical well-being it also hinders our mental well-being.⁣⁣

🔸It’s okay to be feeling all the emotions you might be feeling. If you have to get away from social media, call in sick, cancel a meeting, not answer e-mails, etc., 𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 💯 𝐎𝐊𝐀𝐘 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐎. It is extremely heartbreaking and painful as an immigrant therapist of color to see the ongoing multigenerational white terrorism, systemic racism, and political corruption we are residing in.⁣⁣
