Throwback to 2017 - it was the year I earned my PRO formulad license. I was unable to solidify tire support from any company that was involved with the FD series at that time, monetary support was minimal- maybe enough to do another year of pro2, but after participating in that series for 3 seasons and earning my right to compete where I felt I should be competing in I decided to roll the dice and create a tour of sorts that I personally felt was the best option not only for myself but for the companies the were on board to support my efforts. I knew that I could make this work. _nickswann_ had reached out to me the year before about Gridlife and I knew that there was just so much potential there for me and my partners to make an impact- you have virtually all of the same companies, the best drivers, and one helluva party to really send it off. I knew that if I could make an Impact here that I could make something happen for the following - it was a make or break moment in my career. It was because of this that I was able to meet gregg.bucell and we procured the koruworks relationship going forth into FD for 2018 and now and it’s also where I met kristophermiller from powerstopbrakes . Sometimes you get thrown a curveball that you never saw coming and in that moment you have to be able to do adapt to the times and make something work for you. It’s easy to get discouraged, to lose hope, to feel defeated. It’s during those times where you have to keep going- you CAN make it work. The right opportunities WILL present themselves in the way that are meant best for YOU. I do TRULY believe this. I will forever be thankful to gridlifeofficial for creating a series that has brought forth so much opportunity to not only my career but creative opportunities to this industry as a whole. This is not a comparison to FD - they are not the same at all nor should they be compared as such, but they coincide together and it truly does make for the best season you could ask for.
