vanderbiltu’s, Tommy Openshaw, is one of the 11 Semifinalists in 2017.
Tommy, a 2016 and 2017 All- sec placekicker postseason nominee, is a 2016-17 College Sports Information Directors of America - CoSIDA Academic All-America nominee and four-time All-SEC Honor Roll recipient.  When Tommy isn't kicking field goals, he is a leader with FCA for the last four years, has contributed to local homelessness efforts, has visited ailing youngsters at Vanderbilt's Monroe Carell Children's Hospital, has worked with university and Nashville-area Catholic causes, and has traveled abroad on four spring mission trips as a Vanderbilt undergraduate student.
