## Caption

I got lucky on my last trip out. Found this Barred Owl in an area I’ve driven through at least 100 times. We had a staring contest and believe it or not I won. I watched it hunt for probably 5 minutes and was rewarded with seeing it deliver a salamander to its owlet.
