Let’s be honest, your uncle might KILL it when it comes to nature photography but weddings are a whole other ball game.

First and foremost, there is a lot of stamina required to be on your feet and lugging around equipment for 8, 10, sometimes 12 hour wedding days. Your wedding photographer has been conditioned to this, through experience. Your uncle? Well maybe not. 
.
Indoor lighting can be tricky. If your uncle only ever shoots at perfect light without flash, he will have a hard time with it. This could result in underexposed or “noisey” photos. 
.
Does your uncle know how to dissipate stressful or uncomfortable situations? As wedding photographers, we are trained to have a very high emotional intelligence. Through this skill we have learned how to react in times or stress.

As wedding photographers we know how to GET SHIT DONE. Did one of your bridesmaids not steam her dress and now she looks like a crumbled up piece of paper? We will find someone to steam it for her. Lose an earring? We will get 6 of the groomsmen to look for it. One of your eyelashes coming unglued? We have glue in our bag! We are prepared and ready to help make your day run smoother. That only comes with years of experience
