Happy #Rocktober! 🤘 We’re kicking things off with defleppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me” 🎸 The hit, widely known as the band’s signature song, landed at No. 2 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Songs of the 80s. Front man Joe Elliott says the song was inspired by Aerosmith’s and Run-DMC’s 1986 smash hit “Walk This Way,” saying “…it was only written because Run-DMC and Aerosmith had done “Walk This Way.” All of the sudden, rock and rap did mix, so we wrote our own.”
