Sharing a personal sentiment, if i may. I’ve been feeling pretty overwhelmed recently. And I think I’m likely not the only one. Every scroll through my timeline is filled with heavy imagery featuring the struggle (and simultaneous beautiful resilience) of people who look like my family and friends. Especially my grandpa (❤️🙏🏽). My DMs and comments are filled with people who are either 1) upset at me for continuously posting about #FarmerProtest or 2) upset at me because they haven’t seen any of my posts (both of these sentences cannot be true...). But I get it. Things are really emotionally charged right now and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel helpless. But here is what I’m deciding to do: try my best, do what I can, keep learning, keep speaking out, keep my spirit strong and encourage others to do the same. Because the last thing we need right now is division, more heaviness and any distraction from the actual issue at hand. 

First, plz join me in taking a deep breath. Now I’d like to spread some love. ❤️✨

Shoutout badgalriri for bringing a level of attention to this issue that no one else could. Your voice is very appreciated. 

Shoutout to all media that has covered the truth behind #FarmerProtest. I think it’s important to applaud these outlets. When i see it, I’ll be sure to show love. 

Shout outs to everyone doing God’s work and leading with compassion and education. I have learned so much from you. And will continue to do so. 

Shoutouts to jagmeetsingh who I taped with today for #LateWithLilly. We spoke all things life and #FarmerProtest. Episode airs next week! So charming, smart and full of hope. 

And of course, thank you farmers for fighting the good fight, continuing to be of service and for carrying on that warrior spirit.
