I feel for a while I lost myself on the World Wide Web. I was so buried in social media that I started to lose sight of the real world. I would scroll in the comments for hours seeking validation. I would read up about whoever was “cancelled” for the day. A sigh of relief if it wasn’t me! Even though I’d say I didn’t like drama, I’d find myself doing detective work to catch up on the latest tea. All of this turned me into a person more negative than I’d like to be. I was glued to my phone, welcoming in the noise. Then Tik Tok became a thing and I was initially horrified of it. Another... thing. But then I saw an opportunity for self growth. When I decided to partner with Tik Tok, I choose a direction that would only include positivity, not only to help others but to help myself. These short, often daily videos are a reminder to myself that you can choose the energy you want around you. I know social media can get dark sometimes but this is my way of committing to being a light. I am finding myself. Feel free to join❤️
