## Caption

El Farolito—an amateur side in San Francisco named after a local burrito joint—beat Portland Timbers 2, 2-1 in 1st round of US Open Cup on Tuesday night. Would be like Nashville reserves losing to Prince’s Hot Chicken.

The NPSL club was founded in 1985 by Salvador Lopez, who owned a chain of taco stands throughout San Francisco. Even the supporters group is called Burrito Brava.

@el_farolito have a history with the @opencup, amazingly winning the historic competition in 1993 (1993 US Open Cup trophy sitting within the El Farolito bar) as San Francisco CD Mexico. 🌯🌯🌯
