Paladin wants to give a special shoutout to meredithcollegesoccer, their players we met today, and their ballin’ new coach jengrubb . For those of us who grew up playing youth soccer in North Carolina, we knew her as Jen Laughridge of Hunt High School and the Raleigh Spartans (CASL / now NCFC). She was a goal scoring machine and at one point (I think the record still stands) she had the all time goals scored record in N.C. high school soccer. She went on to play collegiately at University of Tennessee. My sophomore year at Furman we qualified for the NCAA tournament and I finally got to take the field against a childhood hero! (They won but they were really good 🧡🧡🧡). Today she complimented us by asking to run a fun warm up for 90 of her day campers. We had a blast. We can’t wait to see what the future of this college soccer program holds with her leadership (and friendship) at the helm!! #paladinpowerandspeed #meredithcollegesoccer
