After running a small experiment on US users, Facebook has decided to launch a test run in four nations that will alter their algorithm to “de-emphasize” and limit political posts across newsfeeds.

It is no secret that social media, Facebook specifically, has become a breeding ground for political debates and a place for negative comments to swarm. Limiting the number of political posts will not only reduce negativity surrounding debates but will foster a more positive community between people on this platform.
