A message from Her Majesty The Queen on the 75th anniversary of VJ (Victory in Japan) Day, when the Far East campaign ceased and the Second World War finally came to an end.

At 9pm on 15th August 1945, King George VI addressed the nation and the Empire in a broadcast from his study at Buckingham Palace.
