hrhthedukeofyork has opened the new international head office of WaveOptics in Oxfordshire, a world leading designer and manufacturer of a key component in wearable augmented reality (AR) glasses.
During the visit, HRH visited the offices, including the Mechanical Engineering Lab and the Laser Dark Room. HRH also unveiled a plaque.
WaveOptics took part in #PitchatPalace 6.0 in 2016. Since presenting at #PitchatPalace, WaveOptics has grown from just under 15 employees to more than 70 employees around the world.
HRH founded #PitchatPalace in 2014 to amplify and accelerate the work of Entrepreneurs. Since 2014 it has supported 851 new businesses, creating 3,669 new jobs.
