Today our focus will be on simplifying a slap shot! A lot of our younger players have the urge to jump into slap shots, but we need to learn how to take this shot the proper way first. 

4 things we need to keep in mind during this shot:

- Make sure we have that puck up in our stance
- Make sure I step into the shot with my front foot
- We NEED to hit the ice first, then puck second (create flex)
- Let’s finish our follow through ALL THE WAY
