Drove out to Gold Bar on Sept 3rd in search of the Milky Way. It wasn't hard to find thanks to photopills app. Still need to get better at editing night photos, but am happy with this shot and the composition even if it could be better. Love how the quarry lights up the sky and how it looks like the Galaxy is merging with it.
