My 500th post is fittingly a #repost from @alisonyoungblood78. She and #electriccityendurance rode with me the last 30 miles from Clemson's football stadium to Fluor Field to finish my 7,000-mile solo trip across the country for teen heart health in 2015. They are badasses, straight up!

I am proud of you for your 7,000 mile journey across America and back for a great cause, but I am most proud of you for taking action and being a difference maker!

I often laugh about the last 30 miles of your trip and how our group of cyclist kept trying to direct your route...On that day, I kept thinking, “dude has been 7,000 miles with his bike and GPS, I think he’s good!”...I also laugh when I think about how we complained about how hot it was for those 30 miles, meanwhile you had just trekked through Arizona and Texas in the dead of summer!  While I’m sure that you had lots of choice words in your head that day, I hope that in retrospect, you can see the humor in this! 😂
