Hi everyone and happy #takeovertuesday! 😊

My name is Alex Fredecker and I am thrilled to be a part of the social media team that runs the MDIA school accounts. I will be taking over both our Instagram and Twitter for today!  

A little bit about me: I am a junior studying Communication Studies with minors in Journalism and Marketing and a Social Media Certificate. I am also a part of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority oualphaxidelta and Phi Chi Theta Business Fraternity phichitheta_ou here at OU. Finally, I am currently a Voinovich Undergraduate Research Scholar working with the Partnership for Children and Families Team.  

I am very passionate about designing engaging social media posts and blogs, editing any and all content, and communicating with my peers and supervisors.  I am also very interested in event planning and attention to detail, which I learned a great amount about this past summer as a Teacher Training Academy Coordinator Intern for the School of Communication Studies. Outside of school, you can find me hanging out with my friends and family, reading a good book on College Green, or staying active!

After graduation, I am hoping to land a position working in public relations, marketing, human resources, or event planning! 

Very excited to share my day with you!
