This is 30-something. (I’m at the age where I truly have to subtract the year from my birthdate in order to remember how old I am.)

As I reflect on growing another year older, I could sit here and think about the salon appointment I so desperately want to make the minute things open back up and the bougie dinner I hope Thorben and I get to go on and the spa day that feels a year overdue (how can we have been in lockdown for almost a year?)

But what I really want to think on is how thankful I am for another year. Grateful to have experienced thirty-something years full of life. I hope I get to have thirty-somethng more. 

And yes, that is a T-rex sweater. Because if anyone is deep into the world of dinosaurs, it’s the parent of a three year old.
