Today in #USOpenCup history (Oct. 29, 1997): At a neutral field in #Indianapolis, FCDallas (Dallas Burn) edged #DCU 5-3 in PKs after a scoreless draw to become the 1st #Texas club to win the US Open Cup. They also remain the only Modern Era club (and possibly the only one in history) to win the tournament without playing a single home game⁠
