Today in #USOpenCup history (May 9, 1920): 100 years ago today, 12,000 fans in #StLouis witnessed the hometown Ben Miller SC defeat Fore River 2-1 to become the first #Missouri club & the first "Western" team to win the National Challenge Cup. Future SoccerHOF inductee Jimmy Dunn and #WorldWarI veteran Hap Marre (the brother of Hall of Famer John Marre) scored for Ben Millers that day.
