I decided earlier this year that flying Emirates First Class was a goal of mine, so I made it happen. This is what it’s like to fly Emirates First Class on a 15 hour flight from Dubai to New York City on their A380. This flight alone is something of a bucket list item. The service and hospitality is unmatched both on the ground and in the air. I LOVED my flight attendant. Everything is provided to give you the most convenience and it’s a true first class experience. Their flagship lounge at DXB is the largest airport lounge in the world covering over 100K feet with chef prepared fine dining, showers, cigar bar, quiet room and more. You can board your plane directly from the lounge without having to exit to the terminal. You board first and are escorted to your seat. First class is upstairs and completely separated, you never see any of the other passengers. The attendants are amazing! They start service as soon as you enter and you can have literally ANYTHING you want. They provide a Bvlgari amenity kit, snacks and tote you can take. There’s an extensive food and beverage menu and you can order as much as you please at any time including caviar, Dom Perignon and fine wines. The A380 is the only commercial aircraft in the world with an on-board shower suite, so you can actually take a shower on the flight. There’s also a bar and lounge on board. The seats convert to lie flat beds and the flight attendants will make up your bed for you. The doors fully close for privacy and everything within your suite is fully customizable to your liking.  I can’t say enough great things about my Emirates experience all around.
