ABOUT LAST NIGHT

Patrice, CCT’s Executive Director, attended Freedom Fighting Missionaries (FFM) SOLD OUT photo documentary event, ‘The Underground Railroad to ReEntry’, at The Mint Museum Uptown Tuesday night. 

She was among 17 FFM partners recognized for their work with the justice involved, including FFM partnership and community mentorship. Kenny Robinson formed @freedomfighting.missionary in January 2020 to assist individuals transitioning out of incarceration with reentry, helping them to become self-sufficient.

CCT Board Member Gemini Boyd was honored with a Trailblazer Award. And new CCT Board Member, Orrin Jackson was in attendance. Mecklenburg County Sheriff Gary McFadden was also on hand for the event.
