For our old and new followers, we want you to get to know Patrice, who she is and her impact on the Charlotte community:

🧤 Native of Buffalo, NY (we’re almost positive it’s the weather that brought her here to the Carolinas.)

👩🏾‍🎓 Education: Attended North Carolina Central University (NCCU); earned a BS, Human Resource Management from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MS, Organizational Communication & Development from Canisius College

💕💚 Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated

✔️20+ years of corporate human resources experience

👩🏾‍🏫 Created a free community education class based on The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness, by Michelle Alexander

✔️Served on Governor Cooper’s State Reentry Council Collaborative

✔️ Former at-large member on the Leading On Opportunity Council

🎓 Graduated Leadership Charlotte Class 35

✔️ Served on CCT Board for two years before becoming the executive director January 2020

❤ ⬅️ FUN FACT: For Valentine's Day 2016, Patrice flew with the clouds and went skydiving with her hubby.
