If you would have told me six years ago that I would fall in love with football, that my name would be on a very long list of women who are pioneers for this game, or that I would inspire young girls across San Diego… I wouldn’t believe you. 

Yet here I am, blessed that football found me and grateful to have had the privilege of being a part of San Diego’s football organizations. It has been a tremendous honor to tote the rock for my city. 

With a heavy heart, I’d like to thank the sandiegorebellion for the hand they played in developing me into a player that at one point was only in my wildest dreams. I am so grateful for the football knowledge and for the life lessons I learned from being a part of this team. On the Rebellion, I formed some of the most honest and endearing friendships, and for that I feel truly blessed.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the San Diego fans for their unwavering love and support. 

To the young ballers of Daygo, keep running your hearts out and continue pushing the boundaries of this sport. The future of football is bright with you all in it. 

To the close family and friends, phew thank you for hanging in there with me. I can’t express to you all how much I value your mentorship, friendship, belief and words of encouragement.

I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to my incredible parents. Mom and dad, when I didn’t know which direction to turn, you gave me clarity. Thank you for helping me through every step of this difficult process. You are the best support system I could ever ask for.
